We have reached a threshold moment where the individual human beings are in what I consider to be a "final examination" as to whether they, individually, as a cosmic invention, are to graduate successfully into their mature cosmic functioning...
We are at a human examination point at which it is critically necessary for each of us individually to have some self-discovered, logically reasonable, experience-engendered idea of how and why we are here on this little planet in this star system and galaxy, amongst the billions of approximately equally star-populated galaxies of Universe."

I feel inspired to provide these public, periodic insights into my own little Life-Universe, in the hopes that someone may read it and thereby gain perspective or inspiration towards their own life quest. There is always the chance that my own psychoanalytical blogging may happily land on the right computer screen and perhaps alleviate another's inner turmoil, offer some insight into issues of Life & Universe, or perhaps just provide endless monkey entertainment (hence the complex leveling of meaning that is Elftrance ;) Either way, there lies the potential to enrich someone's world, and thus bolster the organic, social network that is my community. Of course there is always as much therapeutic value for myself, as well. :)
I have learned much from recently reading the visionary work of Buckminster Fuller, and so the following world-analysis is heavily Bucky-inspired for sure.

To paraphrase Fuller, it appears that the cosmically ordained function of humans is to be local-Universe problem-solvers. This applies at the macro-personal level of "What should I do with my Life?" as well as at the micro-managed-personal level which constitutes issues such as "How do I get some money-employment so as to maintain my basic life requirements?" or "How do I find a mate?" or "How do I quit smoking?", etc.
Thus the Life issues of finding a job, saving whale populations, finding a wife, developing clean energy technology, writing a novel, eliminating world hunger, or just making a happy living are examples of 'The Universe Problem' as resolved at various scales of manifestation.
However I suspect that the goal of one's problem solving should not be to work for primarily selfish gain. This is NOT the ultimate function of Universe, as is made clear after an honest evaluation of Reality. A wise man or woman learns (whether consciously or unconsciously) to see beyond the temptation of selfish pursuits and instead becomes anchored in a larger vision that serves more than merely the tight constraints of the selfish, fearful Ego.
At the personal level, the goal is to proceed with personal autonomy, good health, and good Spirit, for the ultimate purpose of addressing critical problems in Life (the World) that need attention for the eventual benefit of the many. As this relates to the practical issues of seeking "work" and "career", this may necessarily take a multiplicity of guises: School Teacher, Engineer, Social Worker, Labourer, Mathematician, Software Developer...etc...
I have developed into the societal role of Media Engineer. Perhaps not yet a "successful" one from a financial-popularity-game perspective, but nevertheless this is my path. You may have a completely different path. Given the insidious, propagandistic nature of Media in 21st Century Earthian culture, it appears my role is to spread the appropriate memes to counter this onslaught, and also to inspire others to fulfill their own Cosmic Mandate.
My role is not merely to preach alternative viewpoints. It is also to genuinely educate. My personal repository of information (contained within or transmitted via my mind as a result of my unique human experience) is of great value to society. My blend of creativity and intelligence is a boon in the quest to educate and inspire young people regarding the potential for a New World of prosperity for humanity and themselves. My mandate is also rooted in educating others to have faith in the fantastic potential of their own mind, and to foster evolution at the personal level of individual consciousness, especially through experiences of heightened awareness.
The human goal is not Utopia, whether at the personal or collective level. The human goal is to solve problems, while encouraging love, cohesion, creativity and justice for all humans; And thus this is the formula for building a positive contribution towards the evolution of the local Universe. However, given that the Earth is at such a critical pivot in history, perhaps the issue is not whether or not Utopia shall be realized... but rather the problem should be framed in a "negative" manner: namely, whether or not the Earth will comfortably survive the next 30 years intact. Shall the future be characterized by selfishness, hollow ideology and fear? Or shall it embody beauty, integrity and intelligence?
This is the choice that problem-solving humanity is
being offered. This is the core problem that needs to be addressed, and ultimately
solved, as we glide "amongst the billions
of approximately equally star-populated galaxies of Universe."
